Earthy and Natural Office Decor

When making a room feel inviting, two of the most important principles of design are texture and color! Using our Sage Green Flower Box Print as inspiration, we’ve pulled together a home office that is so inviting you may not want to leave your desk! Below you’ll find lovely shades of green paired with natural textures from floor to ceiling.

Earthy Color

Using Texture’s Flower Box Print as the visual anchor, we chose to echo shades of green throughout the room. You can incorporate this Board and Batten wallpaper for subtle texture or stick with the Coastal Plain paint color from Sherwin Williams to create your own board and batten walls.

Lighting & Leather

This sleek and understated ivory pendant light from West Elm adds warmth and dimension, with metallic details that complement this stylish white leather and gold desk chair.

Natural Textures

Using a variety of textures is a great way to generate focal interest but also create balance. This Textural Rattan lamp with a classic drum shade coordinates nicely with the jute area rug from Ballard Designs. The texture on the floor gives some warmth and defines the room while the natural textures of the lamp draw your eye upward.

The Sloan Desk from World Market pairs a warm wooden surface with antique gold legs. Its clean linear shape brings a modern touch and would be perfect for a small space for an open, airy look.

Drapes

Window treatments are like the icing on a cake. Curtains can soften a room and simultaneously tie all of the elements together. In this case, the white background of the fabric gives a soft contrast to the natural textures we mentioned above. We see the repeating sage green color that ties into our Flower Box art. The timeless pattern of the Tulip Stripe Curtains by Danika Herrick somehow mixes sophistication AND fun…the perfect final touch.
