Spring/Summer 2016 Pantone Colors

Have you seen the Pantone colors for this season? I would describe the palette as cheery and fresh!
Check them out below!

"Colors this season transport us to a happier, sunnier place where we feel free to express a wittier version of our real selves," says Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute. (Source)

It reminds me of a polo shirts, fruit salad, fresh cut grass, and swimming pools. What do you think?

1. Green Staircase Runner

I would have never thought of using green carpet, but this is just stunning. And the polka dot wallpaper is on point! (From Brit + Co and Joanna Henderson)

2. Green Ombre Cake

This cake is so beautiful, you might not want to eat it. However, I would still eat it! (From I Am Baker)

Yes, that is Gwyneth Paltrow, so of course her outfit is cute. But I am loving the green pants! (From Lindex Modern Preppy)

4. Green Architectural Accents

Painting the insides of the shelves and the molding around the drawers is so clever. It is fun and sophisticated all at the same time! (From Amie Corlie Interiors)

5. Green Agate Coasters

Well aren't these beautiful! You can even choose between gold and silver plating around the edges. They sell for $60 on Etsy. (From LilpengeeGems)

6. Green Book Display

If you have a lot of green-ish books, then you really need to do this! The monochromatic bookcase is so pleasing to the eye. AND GUESS WHAT?! Books By the Foot sells groupings of green books, just like this image. So if you want this look but don't have enough books, check out their site. (From Books By the Foot)

This sofa is so chic and retro all at the same time! I love how they paired the green velvet with the natural green plants and floral pillows! (From A Cup of Jo)
