Create Your Own Charming Front Door: The Fall Edition

At Texture Design Co, we think a lot about front doors and what exactly makes a front door so undeniably charming. The front door is often the first impression of our home and the lovely people inside. What better way to convey warmth and personality than by creating a welcoming and stylish entrance? Over the next few months, we’re excited to recreate some of the “Charming Front Doors” from our 2025 collection, complete with tips and links to refresh and enhance your own charming spaces!

 Our October Front Door is the first Charming Front Door we chose to recreate! It embodies all the cozy fall vibes we crave this time of year, even if it’s still 90 degrees in Charleston! At the end of this post, check out our Top Tips for adding charming to your Front Door

The front door draws the eye and serves as the centerpiece of the entire entry. While we want the door to complement the house’s exterior color, that doesn’t mean we’re limited to neutral shades! Our October door features an adventurous and unexpected hue that enhances the charm and coziness of the surrounding space.

We love the Charleston Historic Colors Collection by Sherwin Williams, particularly their Spanish Brown and Evening Harbor colors, which closely match our October Charming Door.

Mixing sleek, modern planters with a vintage French-inspired house number sign creates a balanced, “lived-in” look.

The sleek modern sconces paired with tall planters provide symmetry, drawing the eye upward. Mums, an autumn classic, add a pop of color that beautifully contrasts with the plum of the front door.

Remember, you don’t need a complete overhaul or redesign; sometimes, a change in paint color, some fresh plants and flowers, or elevated lighting can completely transform your space. We hope this provides some fun inspiration for you to charm-up your Front Door!  {ALL PRODUCT LINKS BELOW}
