Mother's Day Gift Guide

Mother's Day Gift Guide

Whether you’re parenting toddlers, teenagers, adults, or fur babies, I think we can all agree that Motherhood is one of the toughest jobs on the planet. But, while it has its challenges, it’s also full of so much love and excitement. Sleepy bedtime hugs, cozy morning snuggles, and the in-between moments of endless knock-knock jokes while bouncing off the walls make for a very full life.

It’s time to celebrate mom and her endless love and selflessness by treating her to something extra special on Mother’s Day. As a mama of two little ones, I have a pretty good idea of what the remarkable women in your life would enjoy. ;)

Keep reading for a few of my favorite gift ideas that would be great for any season of motherhood…

8 Gifts for Joyful Giving (and Receiving)

1. I’ve been eyeing this Lulie Wallace bible for so long! The timeless floral print is so beautiful and would surely be a memorable treasure for years to come. Wouldn’t it be so fun to fill the pages with your own worshipful doodles?

2. Have you ever heard of Able? I love the company, the mission, and the products. This sweet mini tag necklace is the perfect way to showcase the initials of your favorite people who hug your neck.

3. Moms carry all the things. If you’re anything like me, you leave the house with hands full of water bottles, snacks, books, a favorite stuffed animal, and a random piece from a broken toy that your toddler has to bring along. That saying, “if you think my hands are full, you should see my heart,” could not ring more true. Ha! Give mom a beautiful tote for all of “her” extra things. It’s the perfect size for groceries, farmer’s markets, or a trip to the library.

4. For the mama who spends all of her time choosing new clothes for her growing babies, treat her to a luxuriously soft set of pajamas. Chances are, she’s been wearing the same mismatched set for years, and they’re decorated with stains. Bonus points if you can find a cute matching set for the littles!

5. I think it’s safe to say that every single mom LOVES slippers. These comfy Madewell slides would be the perfect addition to those (sometimes too early) mornings playing chef in the kitchen.

6. Remind mom to fill her own cup by giving an essential for staying hydrated (or, let’s be real, drinking more coffee.) Don’t forget to include some fun stickers to personalize her cup to her heart’s desire! We know where you can find them. ;)

7. Looking for a special gift for your grandmother, who seems to have everything? This legacy journal is a perfect choice. With thoughtful journal prompts and spaces to fit old photos, mom (or grandma) can retell her old stories and someday pass the journal back to you and your kids. It’s the gift that keeps on giving.

8. Last but certainly not least is the single most important part of gifting. Yep, a thoughtful, handwritten card. I still save some cards I’ve received over the years, and it’s one of my favorite traditions to look back at heartfelt messages. We have lots of hand-illustrated mother’s day cards for you to choose from. Or, grab yourself a set of our brand-new marigold cards and write a note to all of the special women in your life!

Take it a step further…

If you really want to treat mom to something special, head to your nearest spa and book her a facial. 60 minutes of pure silence while someone massages your face? Ummm…yes, please! (Hint hint…Martin.) Pair that with any of the gifts on my list above, and you’re good to go.
